As a single parent of two wonderful children with autism, I was constantly juggling their unique needs while trying to manage daily life and my unexpected health condition. It often felt overwhelming, and I rarely had time for myself or my other responsibilities. That’s when I found Mission Respite, which has been our family's lifesaver.

About Mission Respite
Our MISSION is to provide life-enriching respite (relief) for families that have a child with a special ability.
Spending time with a child that has a disability can not only inspire the child, but enrich your own life.
Mission Respite has a contract with the Dane, Rock, Columbia, Waukesha, La Crosse and Racine Counties Department of Human Services to provide respite care to children who are eligible for the CLTS waiver. The CLTS waiver is available to children and youth under the age of 18 who have a diagnosis of an intellectual and/or developmental disability, physical disability, and/or mental health disability.
